Lake Forest Meet

Hey Gators!
We have the Lake Forest meet Tuesday so this week we will practice MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, and THURSDAY. No practice on Friday in observance of July 4th. Warmups for the Lake Forest meet will be from 4:40-5:10. Guppies will swim at 5:15 and the meet will begin at 5:30. Please register for the meet by Monday at noon.
Lake Forest sent the following info:
We ask that parents set up their tents or chairs outside the pool area and come into the pool area when their child swims due to space. Your swimmers are welcome to set up in the pool area in the visitor area in front of the concessions building.
Parking can be a little tight at our pool. Your parent can drive down to the pool area and drop off swimmers and chairs, tents, etc. They can then go park down the street. We can’t block in the pool drive in case of the need for an emergency vehicle and also please ask your parents to NOT park in the grass of the neighbor’s houses. They do not mind people parking in front just not in the grass.
The concessions are CASH ONLY.
Next week we do not have a scheduled meet. We have had so many rainouts this summer that I am considering hosting a club meet on July 8th. Swimmers could register to swim the 50/100 free and the individual medley as timed events. We would have some events where swimmers race the coaches/parents/each other for fun and free swim. We could do concessions and grill hamburgers and hotdogs if people are interested.
