West Mobile Meet

Hey Gators!
Before I get to the details of the West Mobile meet, let me address a few concerns.
Volunteers
We must have volunteers to run each meet. Rebecca, Jenni, and I (Alison) volunteer our time to run the team. We have had a hard time getting enough volunteers for the last two meets. Rebecca has spent an excessive amount of time rounding up volunteers. Several people, Rebecca included, worked for the entire Springhill meet. Every family is expected to volunteer for at least 2 meets. For the West Mobile meet, we will be assigning volunteers based on the families participating in the meet. If for some reason, you cannot work in your assigned position, please try to find someone to work and/or let us know and we will help. Thanks in advance for your cooperation! We have the best team spirit in Mobile and I know we can count on y'all to help!
Communication
I have been made aware that some families are not receiving the Remind messages. Some people have found that updating their app has helped. We are looking for a good solution for this and welcome any ideas. We previously used email to share info but ran into problems with certain email servers blocking emails due to the number of recipients. We tried to get around that by sending emails in several groups but that did not solve the problem and became a tedious process so email is not the answer. We have a limited number of email blog posts we can send through the website. We could try to move to Group Me. All that to say, we are open to suggestions because we understand that it is very frustrating to feel uninformed.
West Mobile Meet
Warmups at West Mobile will be 4:30-5:00. Guppies will swim at 5:00 and the meet will begin at approximately 5:10. Swimmers may register for 3 events. We will swim relays at the end of the meet so let me know if you plan to stay until the end for relays on the registration form. Please have the registration completed by Tuesday at noon. I am on vacation this week so I will not be able to fix events or add swimmers. Our coaches can help with any changes at the meet. Thanks and GOOOO GATORS!!!!!!
